XVIII amžiaus studijos (Eighteenth-Century Studies) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the dissemination of original, interdisciplinary research concerning the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the long eighteenth century. The journal’s scope encompasses a broad range of academic disciplines, including history, linguistics, literary studies, education, and cultural history.
The publication features original research papers, review articles, and critical editions of primary eighteenth-century sources, alongside other scholarly materials pertinent to the era. Furthermore, the journal provides critical reviews of recent Lithuanian and international scholarship, including scientific monographs and collective studies. To ensure thematic depth and coherence, each volume is curated around a specific research problem or a central historical theme.
Articles are published in Lithuanian, English, and Polish. In exceptional cases, papers may also be published in other languages.
The journal is published annually by the Lithuanian Institute of History.

PUBLISHING SCHEDULE
The volume is published annually in December, in both electronic and print formats. The deadline for submitting manuscripts for publication in the current year is February 10.
